ENTERPRISE OPERATING RESOURCE

Make the handoff answer six questions.

A useful handoff tells the next Masterline team what outcome is needed, which operating company owns the work, what context matters, who can decide, what is missing, and what happens next. Published by Masterline HQ as general operating guidance; updated July 29, 2026.

The short answer.

Do not forward a problem without an outcome, owner, operating context, open items, and a dated next action.

If the operating company is still unclear, start with the procurement routing checklist.

01

Outcome

State what needs to be true when the request is complete. A clear outcome is more useful than a broad category.

02

Work type

Identify recurring facilities service, commercial plumbing construction, a verified Masterline IQ workflow, or a corporate request.

03

Operating context

Name the affected sites or project, timing, access constraints, approval path, and required records without exposing credentials or unnecessary private data.

04

Decision owner

Identify who can answer scope questions, approve the next step, and receive the final record.

05

Open items

List missing documents, unresolved assumptions, qualifications to verify, and the date each answer is needed.

06

Next action

End with one owner, one action, and one follow-up date so the request does not disappear into forwarding.

Route the work without mixing the records.

Review the Masterline companies and the vendor onboarding record checklist before requesting qualification documents.

Recurring maintenance and repair belongs with Masterline Facilities. Commercial plumbing construction belongs with Masterline Construction. Verified product and portal-workflow questions belong with Masterline IQ.

Corporate, press, leadership, vendor, employment, and group-research questions remain with Masterline HQ.
